Kristine Kinniburgh – Childhood Trauma

Kristine M. Kinniburgh, LCSW is the former director of child and adolescent services at The Trauma Center at Justice Resource Institute in Brookline, Massachusetts. She is currently the director of trauma services for JRI Connecticut and national trainer for the Trauma Center at JRI. Mrs. Kinniburgh is also a member of the faculty of the Complex Trauma Treatment Network within the National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN). Her teaching and publications focus on the integration of trauma-informed and trauma specific practices into all facets of service delivery. With Dr. Margaret Blaustein, Kristine Kinniburgh is co-developer of the Attachment, Self-Regulation, and Competency (ARC) treatment framework (Kinniburgh & Blaustein, 2005), and co-author of the text, Treating Complex Trauma in Children and Adolescents: Fostering Resilience through Attachment, Self-Regulation, and Competence (Blaustein & Kinniburgh, 2010). She has provided more than 1000 hours of training and consultation on this framework with more than 27 agencies in the US and abroad.
