Zafus have traditionally been used for years to help practitioners achieve more deep and mindful mediation. By slightly elevating the lower torso, zafus relieve joint stress on hips, knees, and ankles, ease bone pressure, and encourage a straighter, more restful spine alignment. All these factors work in concordance to create the easy comfort necessary for a clear mind.

Traditionally, zafus have been constructed with fine textiles and filled with kapok, a soft fiber from Thailand. The modern zafu is constructed with rugged, resilient canvas that remains soft and comfortable, but can withstand the rigors of everyday use in busy households. Filled with dense 100% cotton, these zafus still provide the proper amount of elevation, firmness, and support required.

Our 18″ zafu boasts a cozy 6″ thickness and features a handy carry strap. The canvas cover simply unzips and removes for quick and easy clean-up.
