Description

The mature author looks back upon the period after the death of his young wife to breast cancer in 1971, and sees in the poems he wrote during that time the process of healing over about a year, when he found the woman who became his second lifetime love. Many of the poems appear in his story. A retired minister, he believes God led him through the loneliness, granting signs of marital and vocational happiness to come.
