Description

A young girl has to deal with the death of her mother at the tender age of 8. She misses out on her childhood, stepping up to care for her two younger siblings. The setting is beautiful Illinois back in the late 70’s. Belle learns of her mothers demise after a long battle with weight loss by an experimental surgery called “Bypass” surgery. Belle eventually learns about forgiveness through her mothers death. She carries this knowledge with her into her own parenting as she matures to an adult.
