The purpose of this book is to share my own healing process clearing negative emotions caused from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD.) The benefits for those who read my book is that I am a twice survivor of PTSD and using poetry has helped me (so I trust it will help others) to get rid of what had been holding me back from my purpose in life. That purpose is to help others heal, not only from PTSD, but physical and emotional blockages that cause us pain keeping us away from our joy. I feel that when we are fulfilling our purpose to be on this Earth (especially if it involves helping others) the Universe will give us ‘favor’ to accomplish our mission. For me, this favor is revealed through my being a Caucasian woman performing Qigong and Kundalini Reiki healing practices beyond my own abilities. These are particularly Asian persons who do such. I had to overcome not just the intricate disciplines, but the Eastern cultural environment compared to my own Western beginnings. While tempering my own ego to fit into the surrendering to my Higher Power, I had to persevere in an environment of mostly male Masters who teach Qigong and Kundalini Reiki. Though never having even a prior interest in taking a poetry class, God made me one of His poets! He has used this inspired Divine rhyme to connect me (and those who read it) to our Higher Power. This set me apart as being ‘different, ‘ but also exceptional in the healing and love the poetry aspires to give hope to those in need of capturing their joy again.
