Document from the year 2012 in the subject Psychology – Consulting, Therapy, grade: 3.68 GPA, language: English, abstract: The present case report describes counselling an individual with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). The 24-year-old male client suffers from FASD resulting in cognitive impairments, a lack of social skills, signs of inappropriate sexual behavior and the need for anger management. To complement the client’s learning difficulties a client-centered approach will be used, along with facial recognition exercises, and an increased use of role-playing and visual aids.
