This book is about breaking out from under my covers!” Dawn E. Fisher was born in Illinois. Her father taught her how to clean guns, drive a tractor, develop film, and fly an airplane. Her mother introduced her to music, literature, the arts, and community service. She holds a degree in fine arts, advertising design, and has done graduate studies in psychology and art. While married, she moved and lived all over the United States. As a free spirit, Dawn’s interests include everything from new age philosophy, to antiquities, travel, music, art, and films. She is a life-long fitness enthusiast and is an avid swimmer. In 2008, she and her partner walked the 500-mile Camino de Santiago across Spain. Her community is her passion. Dawn has served two terms on city council and has held board positions with many area organizations. She has renovated several properties in town and has been picking up litter wherever she has been for the last 20 years. This compilation of poetry and writings represents her journey of self-discovery from the 1960s to the present day. She is the mother of three adult children and has one grandson. Dawn lives with her partner in Florida.
