Dominant Factors to Child Sexual Abuse in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia)
$63.00
Description
Why is sexual abuse committed on minor and dependent children? This was the guiding question of the study. Based on practice-based psychological, sociological, and statistical approaches, the dominant correlates of child sexual abuse have been analysed. Specifically, the most known statistical procedure was employed to synchronize multiple possible factors into more manageable groups of factors to child sexual abuse. Accordingly, 5 major correlates (i.e. lack of internal inhibitions, lack of resistance, and lack of external inhibitions, motivational factors, and environmental factors) of child sexual abuse have been identified. Finally, the author proposed integrated and practical strategies that need to be implemented to tackle the problem.
