He has authored numerous articles in health-related periodicals, newspapers and has appeared on radio, television and several health care forums. He was selected by Ohio’s Governor to help create the Federally Funded Alcohol/Drug Treatment in Akron, Ohio and seven Ohio counties. He has served as: Charter Board President with wife of Psycho-social center for mentally ill; Founder/counselor of Center for Relapse Prevention, Tennessee and an Administrator of a Regional A/D treatment center in Tennessee. He is presently Board President Chemical Dependency Treatment center Smoky Mountains, Tennessee. Jim enjoys his family, playing tennis, running and yoga, participating in dream, meditation and spiritual growth groups; as well as writing short stories, poetry and blogging.
