POETIC WRITINGS 1990-2010 belong to various literary genres. Besides stories, essays and short poems, what appears in this collection is the pamphlet. It should be noted that the pamphlet is an old literary art form dating back to the late Middle-Ages and early Renaissance. It is a literary genre that was later on completely neglected if not forgotten, but that the author filled with new content. The author shows in his poetic writings that intergenerational love that is nonviolent and respectful is a viable social paradigm for a future enlightened society, while now the ultra-conservative forces may frown upon such display of a love that is considered as forbidden and taboo. The poet doesn’t ask the questions of adapted citizens; he or she just creates, and creation is always novelty, not a newly distilled vintage of the old and established. The stories and essays, which are in part authentic and in part invented, render detailed accounts of platonic encounters, relationships, love and despair with children, but also professional relations with children, in the educational and the medical setting, describing adults, professionals, doctors and educators who deeply care about the cause of the child and who are depicted in these epic stories with delicacy and sense of detail.
