Travelling as Hsp with Dissociation
$8.87
Description
I have been traveling from an early age. My parents often drove their car in Indonesia, where there are greater distances and different traffic rules. We arrived in the Netherlands in 1962 and I quickly learned how to ride a bicycle, which gave me mobility. I went to school with it and later to work. As soon as it was possible, I had obtained my driver’s license. Because of my interest in learning languages, I was curious about other countries and cultures. After finishing school, I also worked abroad. That had broadened my horizon. I got more and more work experience and life experience. Besides many positive experiences, I also had of course many negative experiences. Because of the insight into the natural interaction of fun and less fun aspects in life, I cannot be stopped from gaining more experiences. I see travel in a relative way. I don’t have to physically move to travel. It doesn’t have to be expensive. It can be for short or longer time. I can always travel whenever I want. Life is a journey to gain experiences. I do not have to prepare for my very last journey, which everyone will make, namely to die. As an HSS, I view this in a positive and realistic way: try it out and experience it.
