Description

The social pressures caused by a totalitarian society are loud and clear. A young couple in China discover they are expecting a second child. This is in a strict one-child political environment. The fear of the police leads to sacrifices impossible to contemplate. These experiences change Yin’s constitution from one of innocence to that of self- awareness. Can she find her family and re-experience her lost happiness and joy? Has everything in her life changed forever? Young Yin will have to wait and see what fate has in store for her. Despite her loss of trust in others, she struggles to find inner strength beyond her years to help her thrive and prevail.
