The seeds for this book began back in 2006, when I was studying Kinesiology. I put together a colour-coded Mind Map onto a large piece of blank news print paper. My teachers loved it. I had it laminated and have kept it all these years, using it as my Kinesiology reference map many times over.I have used this as the foundation to create Applied Essential Oils: The Reference Map, a colour-coded reference book. This book contains beautiful illustrations by talented young artist, Yorman Moreno. His colour-coded illustrations have been designed to show you how to holistically work with Essential Oils, Meridians and Chakras.As a practitioner working holistically, I will be asking, what is the associated vertebral location? What was happening at the time of the onset of pain or ill health? What Chakra location is this at? What Meridian flow line does this fall within? What Organ does this relate to in terms of the Traditional Chinese Medicine 5 Elements (TCM)? What is the Organ Muscle relationship at the relevant vetebral level?What Essential Oils along with their qualities and properties have been identified as being supportive for the pain points associated with the relevant interacting Muscles, or their related Meridians, or Chakras, individually, all or both? So many lines of inquiry play a role in the complex matrix of, why?It is not practical for everyone to have to know the answers to all these questions. This is why I have put together, Applied Essential Oils: The Reference Map. It is a detail rich yet uncomplicated reference guide, that has been designed so anyone can use it.Applied Essential Oils, is a reference map providing associations between points of reference. It has been designed to assist you when you are choosing your Essential Oils to support health. All references for these associations are colour-coded.To my knowledge, until now the concept of Applied Essential Oils has been missing from the literature in complementary health. There is information already out there about Chakras and Essential Oils, and Meridians and Essential Oils, but there is no reference guide that integrates all this information in one book.I hope you find Applied Essential Oils: The Reference Map, to be both useful and enriching.
