MODERN ART: EDGY BUT EMPTY. Art and beauty is supposed to EDIFY us–catapult us to divine perceptions. But instead we’re herded into political grooves while unique artists are screened out or dismissed. Enveloped in ugliness we’re degraded in spirit as it drains away capacity for happiness. The replacement with crap for everything that was WONDERFUL is horrifying to sensitive people. Art is supposed to edify us ABOVE all this-a psychic opening to higher divine inspiration. Before putting edgy art out there ask: would grandma approve? Modern is uncouth. Through your art your sow seeds of discord and that’s how societies are taken down by hordes. Europeans are being asked to replace the beauty of the past with the brutality of the present. Why beauty (the profound/remarkable) matters: without it life’s in tatters, there are no answers. Beauty and art is aspirational: it sparks the human spirit to go even higher than we’re capable. There ARE objective beauty standards and it’s not a piece of trash in a gallery, it’s all backwards. Beauty is a universal human need elevating the human spirt not ugly buildings and art works reflecting nihilism, meaninglessness and unhappiness.
