Whatever you do, you should know that it’s really hard for everybody to get used to the changes, no matter what age they are. I’ve been be a therapist for 40 years, and I’ve seen lots of kids whose parents were separated or divorces. And I have never met anyone who said it was easy, including grown-ups!
