March 17, 2012, at 4:00 p.m. I went from being a wife of 45 years to a widow. It is a club no one wants to join. Especially me. My life as a wife and mother was a good one and one that I was not wanting to ever give up. But, here I am, age 65, having entered the world of being single, giving it my all to make the best of it. Since writing has always been my way of dealing with life’s issues, I decided to write my way into this new realm of being. One day at a time, one step at a time, I will keep moving forward with the goal to rediscover who I am.
