Chapter 6The Frontier hotelWalt and Tony were working in the Frontier hotel, Walt was head waiter and Tony was head chef. Then, Tony encouraged Walt to start a restaurant and who promoted himself to be Walt’s restaurant’s head chef. Finally, after several meetings and a lot of planning, Walt and Bill decided to open a Italian restaurant and employ Tony to be head chef. After then, Walt and Bill both partners tried to encourage Tony to join them in partnership, but Tony had refused and his personal reason was to lose his freedom. However, Walt dissatisfied Tony’s performance because Tony had begun waking up late for work and who had missed several shifts altogether and who also often liked to drink alcohol. Hence, Tony performed bad behaviour to cause this conflict with Walt. Although their age were late thirties years old and before they were head positions in the Frontier hotel, but Tony had personal problem, such as marriage was broken and who liked to spend much time to meet girlfriend and who often drank alcohol in his private life. Tony’s private life was seemed to influence whose head chef cooking job in Walt’s Italian restaurant. Although, the Italian restaurant could expand to a large location. Walt and Bill two partners could earn profit and Tony head chef could earn Frontier hotel and Italian restaurant both employers’ salaries in the same time within one year. However, Tony’s performance was became poor, e.g. who didn’t come to work and who had called in sick to Walt. In fact, who told lie to Walt, Tony spent sick time to meet whose girlfriend. Sometime, Tony arrived Walt’s restaurant to work, but sometimes who was absent.
